HOSPITALIZATION / INTENSIVE CARE

• Technicians on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• IV fluid therapy – all small animal patients are administered IV fluids through electronic fluid pumps.  These pumps allow exact volumes of fluids to be given to avoid accidental overdoses of fluids or medications.
• Oxygen therapy
• Blood typing and blood products are available such as packed red cells, plasma, and clotting factors.
